“Heaven and Earth” is an important historical documentation of heavy metal in the Soviet Republic of Armenia in the late eighties. This is the ultimate band for you if you enjoy the mystic atmosphere of old East European metal. Imagine 1977-1987 style of heavy metal like 70’s era RAINBOW, KING DIAMOND’s ”Abigail”, Black Hole’s ”Land of Mystery”, parts of CELTIC FROST’s “Into the Pandemonium”, 70’s era DEEP PURPLE and traditional oriental melodies of Armenia, all combined into one band with lyrics in Armenian. “Heaven and Earth” is part of I HATE’s tradition of promoting old forgotten jewels from the former Eastern European countries (in this case the Caucasus).
